A prime housing

Two-thirds of our land consists of garrigue

Our environment forms a whole, which functions through interactions between plants and animals, from the smallest to the largest. On the estate, two-thirds of our land consists of garrigue and a large number of areas are meadows.

Thanks to the large proportion of natural elements compared to cultivated land, the presence of water points, hedges, isolated trees, animal corridors and the diversity of environments present, the estate is home to a high density of nesting birds.

58 bird species observed

During an ornithological survey carried out in June 2024 on the estate*, 58 bird species were observed. Among them are typically Mediterranean bird species such as the European roller, the Orphean and Subalpine warblers, the southern grey shrike and the rock sparrow.

*Study and pictures by Pierre Caucal

The estate is labeled « Des Terres et des Ailes » (“Lands and Wings”), an environmental initiative for the agricultural world, supported by the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO).
