On Saturday November 30, we offer a guided tour followed by a Wine & Cheese workshop.
Workshop
The tour begins with a presentation of the vineyard and appellation, with a breathtaking view of the garrigue and the vines. It continue in the cellar with a tour of the wine-making cellar and ageing cellar. The workshop concludes with a tasting of vineyard wines in the former 12th-century priory. In a setting conducive to awakening the senses, you’ll have the opportunity to taste several wine and cheese pairings carefully selected by us.
A link to the land
Biodynamic label since 2018, we enhance soil biodiversity through environmentally-friendly practices. Every year, sheep graze between the rows of vines, stimulating the soil’s microbial life. Our soils are also nourished with manure compost from these ewes and goats from neighboring farms.
During the workshop, you’ll be able to taste an artisanal tomme, made from the milk of the ewes grazing on our plots, as well as a goat’s pélardon from a partner farm.
Unprecedented tasting of an old vintage
During this workshop, you’ll be offered an original pairing with Les Secrets, Bois de Tourtourel 2013. This wine comes from the vineyard’s unique Pic Saint-Loup terroir, formed by an accumulation of Jurassic limestone fragments resulting from gelifraction, then spread out in vast screes by powerful torrents in the Quaternary era.
Bois de Tourtourel Vintage 2013: “[…] incredible purity of fruit. […] exceptional length. It will have a decade of longevity”. (Wine advocate).
