Our viticulture is based on practices that are in harmony with the nature that surrounds us and on a good knowledge of the ecology of our environments: soils, garrigues and landscapes.
Committed to preserving our natural heritage, we have been working in organic farming since 2006 to preserve biodiversity and soil richness. The 200 hectares of wild garrigue that protect the estate’s vineyard depend on it. For the past 10 years, we have continued this approach by implementing biodynamic practices.
Beyond the environmental aspect, organic and biodynamic farming is a real tool and way of progress in winemaking. We first observed the effects on white wines, which became fresher and more balanced, and then on red wines. Working with natural yeasts allows us to produce wines that best express their terroir.
Organic and biodynamic agriculture are also ways for us to temporize the effects of climate change, for example by promoting rainwater infiltration through living soil that harbors a wide variety of microorganisms. The context of climate change compels us to accelerate the development of this knowledge.
These savoir-faire allow us, over time, to progress in expressing our wines, which originate from our natural environment. Deepening our knowledge of our terroirs, our landscapes, and the interaction between the vines and the soils are our current focus areas.
