Easter horsetail infusion is made for preventative purposes, aiming to strengthen the vine’s existing defenses and to accompany it towards spring.
We usually prepare the horsetail decoction a week before Easter. This infusion is beneficial for the development of young leaves and helps prevent diseases that may develop.
The timing of the preparations is based on careful observation of our vineyard and its environment.
This year, due to the weather conditions of winter and early spring marked by abundant rainfall, we anticipated and increased the application of Easter horsetail. The first preparation was applied earlier than usual, on March 3rd and a second on April 4th, instead of just one in previous years.
